Model Overview
The Toyota Corolla is a front-wheel drive five-passenger compact sedan, reliable and economical, yet refined and comfortable. For 2017 the Corolla has the new XLE and XSE trims as well as an updated front fascia, LED headlights, and a standard rearview camera.
The Corolla is available in L, LE, LE ECO, XLE, SE, and XSE trim levels. The SE is also available as a Special Edition. The powertrain for all trims except the LE ECO is a 132 horsepower, 1.8-liter dual VVT-I engine. This is matched with a continuously variable transmission (CVTi-S) or an available six-speed manual on the SE trim. The LE ECO includes a 140 horsepower, 1.8-liter engine with Valvematic, combined with the CVTi-S transmission. Safety features include front, side-impact, side-curtain, and drivers knee airbags, forward collision warning, and lane departure intervention. Air conditioning and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with Traction Control are standard on all models. All Corollas include adaptive cruise control, LED headlamps with auto high-beam, Bluetooth, a USB port, and power windows. Available features include 16-inch wheels, tilt-and-slide power moonroof, Entune Audio, backup monitor, navigation, and leather.
The Toyota Corolla has some minor updates for the 2017 model year and some new trims.
