Model Overview
The Scion tC is a well-equipped yet affordable coupe that benefits from Toyota's attention to quality, durability and reliability. It is marketed towards the young first-time buyer looking for a sporty coupe.
The tC is powered by a 179-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, paired with a six-speed manual transmission; a six-speed automatic with manual shift mode is optional, while an electronic power-assist steering system contributes to increased fuel efficiency. . Notable features include a panorama sunroof, 18-inch aluminum wheels, air conditioning and cruise control, as well as power windows, mirrors and door locks. The tC's Pioneer sound system features HD Radio, 6.1-inch LCD touchscreen, Bluetooth audio streaming, MP3 capability and direct iPod connectivity, along with a regular auxiliary jack for other types of portable music devices. Standard safety equipment includes stability and traction control systems, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, eight airbags, tire pressure monitoring and a first aid kit.
The 2015 Scion tC being redesigned last year, carries over with minimal changes.
