Model Overview
The Hyundai Sonata Plug-In Hybrid is a five-passenger sedan offers the ability to drive in all-electric mode, or gasoline-electric Hybrid mode. Such a system offers the most flexibility while doing away with range anxiety.
The Sonata Plug-In Hybrid is powered by a 2.0-liter direct-injected four-cylinder engine and powerful electric motor that combine to produce 202-hp. The power is sent through a six-speed automatic transmission to the front wheels. Traction control, stability control, anti-lock brakes, anti-whiplash front head restraints and more, all combine to ensure occupant safety. The exterior features back-up camera, hybrid-specific alloy wheels and chrome grille. Interior features include unique trim, Supervision instrumentation and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Limited trim is standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, leather interior, heated and ventilated front seats, power driver seat with lumbar, and garage door-opener.
The Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid is a carry-over for 2017.
