Model Overview
The midsize Chevrolet Malibu sedan is a constantly evolving classic, blending contemporary styling, civilized road manners, quality construction and a comfortable interior.
The Malibu is offered in four trim levels - L, LS, LT and Premier. Power is supplied by either a 160-hp 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Ecotec engine with auto stop/start technology, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, or a 250-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, paired with a nine-speed automatic. Trim-dependent standard equipment includes: 19-inch aluminum wheels, LED daytime running lights, heated/ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control and satellite radio. Every Malibu (except L) stays connected with a Chevrolet MyLink radio, featuring a 7-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth streaming audio, 4G and Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and smartphone integration; wireless device charging is also available. Standard safety features include anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, stability/traction control systems and OnStar, as well as ten airbags; other available technologies include a rearview camera, Forward Collision Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Keep Assist, Side Blind Zone Alert and Teen Driver mode.
The Chevrolet Malibu carries over unchanged for 2018.
