The front-wheel drive, five passenger Elantra is available in six trims for 2018: SE, SEL, Value Edition, Eco, Limited and the Sport. The Eco is powered by a 128-hp, 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline direct injection (GDI) engine paired with a 7-speed EcoShift dual clutch transmission (DCT). The Sport is powered by a powerful 201-hp, 1.6-liter turbocharged GDI engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or with the optional 7-speed DCT. All other trims are powered by the 147-hp, 2.0-liter engine mated to either the 6-speed manual or a 6-speed SHIFTRONIC automatic transmission. Standard safety features include four-wheel anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control with traction control and seven airbags. Available features include a power sunroof, turn signal equipped exterior mirrors, 17 and 18-inch aluminum wheels, rear heated seats, leather seating surfaces, Hyundai Blue Link, SiriusXM satellite radio, upgraded Infinity audio system, navigation, Bluetooth and proximity key w/ push-button start.
